Nathalie,

Tessa and I have often discussed the idea of moving to Colorado to buy a plot of land and raise a house and a family with you. Communal style. We decided that if that actually happens, this is what our garden will look like. How do you feel about this plan?

I mean, I know the whole “lesbian polygamist relationship” was a joke back when we were all straight college folk, but now… it should actually happen.

YES. Please move here and live on a communal farm with Tory and me immediately. I’ve been reading about Catholic Worker houses, and I’d like to start my own, complete with plenty of farm animals, a little coffee shop (selling food made from the produce of our garden), and a co-op daycare.

In the meantime, you should come visit and we can practice the whole living together thing.

Exactly. Arguments against gay marriage fall apart when you try to apply the same rules to other aspects of society. Of course, each issue is unique and cannot use all the same rules, but still - a little consistency would be nice.
